We have met the enemy and he is us

Back to Full Blog

Just got back from some more 50th Anniversary celebrations. This time a dinner with all of the family and friends. And more celebrations to come.

One of the things we did was to get a “new” Grand Marquis. The old '93 white one was having more and more problems so we got one ten years younger:

Too much to do before blogging but had to post this, the latest great video from Brad Paisley. This time with Andy Griffith:

I like the way Andy Griffith was worked into the song. It has been a while since I last saw him. He looks a little older and a little heavier.

I like your "new" Grand Marquis. I see that you know how to purchase "pre-owned" cars. It looks like a "cherry."

We did the Carmax experience, Whit. It was not bad at all. Did my financing through USAA, found what I wanted on the internet and it was at Carmax. Very professionally done without hassle.

There are a lot of good videos. Particularly liked this one.

So, Sinann - you've said you have no garage to walk to for you daily stroll. Now, where will you keep this beauty?!
btw-the flowers are pretty, too.

With Hanna coming, wish we had a solid garage. I know deep in my heart that Hanna has her beady eye on my beautiful "new" car and that is why she is coming here.

Got over 400 miles on an 18 gallon tank, Hawk, with part of it in city driving and some stuck on 64 blocked by a car fire. My daughter's little Acura gets 26. The Grand Marquis' V8 just sort of saunters along, low rpm's and little strain. If you can not tell, I am a fan of Ford's "panther" frame, engine, body combination that is the Crown Vic, Grand Marquis, Lincoln. My old one I still have - 15 years and over 250K miles.
