Thanks, Ron. We are off to Tide's Inn in Irvington, VA, for a second (50th) honeymoon and then to visit the kids in The Big City. It will be a party. Been working for 50 years for this event. Of course, for a whole lot of other things, too.

I was so suave and debonaire even without the uniform, Hawk. But to catch and reel in that beautiful and delightful creature, needed all the help I could get.
Congratulations on your upcoming Golden Wedding Anniversary.
To My Dear and Loving Husband Written by Anne Bradstreet
If ever two were one, then surely we. If ever man were loved by wife, then thee; If ever wife was happy in a man, Compare with me, ye women, if you can. I prize thy love more than whole mines of gold Or all the riches that the East doth hold. My love is such that rivers cannot quench, Nor ought but love from thee, give recompense. Thy love is such I can no way repay, The heavens reward thee manifold, I pray. Then while we live, in love let's so persevere That when we live no more, we may live ever.

Those uniforms, Curious. 46 of the 50 years were without the uniform, however, so must have had something deeper than that. Really deserve combat medals for them.

...love the wedding photo
- reminds me of another-about same vintage & uniform.
The twists of fate and destiny that throw people together and make the right combination. Plus a lot of work. At least did one thing right.
